The work is carried out according to strict European standards, in cooperation with European companies and under the supervision of Ghizzoni, and according to the requirements of the Dutch standard — the strictest European standard for gas piping work. The natural gas pipeline is designed to transport the gas from the drilling site in the Tethys Sea and Egypt to industrial plants throughout the country, and to replace the fuel oil that is used as the main energy supplier today.
